Tasha, thank you for being so real, so honest, so open. I too have been through seasons of anxiety and discontentment and have come through the other side just to have it creep back in again. Thankfully, those days are fewer and farther between, but I know that the Lord uses them to teach me more about Him and remind me who I am in Him and to Him. I will pray that the summer continues for you!

LOVE this post! i definitely am learning this after years and years in formal ministry . . . now that i’m married and have kids, i’m realizing that the real community is what happens when life just happens, that i don’t need to TRY to be wise, TRY to give good advice, TRY to find out what the issues are, but all i have to do is be myself and the real stuff (good and bad – but both real) come out. it definitely is hard for a people-pleaser, always-want-do-to-gooder, let’s-be-efficient-with-time-person like me, but it is freeing and kind of terrifying at the same time. and THANK YOU for that verse.
